Free See what's slipping through your receivables

Collect what you're due.
Keep the relationship.

Northdue's AI agents follow up on your overdue invoices from your own mailbox, in your name. They read the replies and match the payments, and a person approves every email until you're ready to let routine ones go. You pay a share of what we collect, and nothing up front.

  • Sent from your own Gmail or Outlook
  • Read-only access to your books

Following up on overdue invoices is rarely anyone's whole job. It gets done between month-end and everything else, the friendly reminder never turns into a second one, and the oldest balances quietly get older.

Northdue gives those invoices steady, polite, specific follow-up every weekday, from your own address, without anyone on your team having to remember.

How it works

Connected in minutes. Working every weekday.

No spreadsheet to keep up to date and no new system for your team to run. Northdue works from your books and your mailbox, and asks you only for the decisions that need a person.

01 · Connect

Connect your books and your mailbox

One sign-in each for QuickBooks, Xero, Gmail or Microsoft 365, with read-only access to your books. On something else? Send us your aging report.

02 · Approve

Your emails are drafted and waiting

Every weekday morning the agents decide who needs a nudge and write each email in your name, with invoice PDFs attached when your books have them. You, or our team if you prefer, approve, edit or reject.

03 · Handle

Replies get handled, not buried

Promises are tracked, disputes and questions come straight to you, and reminders pause when a customer answers.

04 · Get paid

Payments matched. You get the report.

When money lands, the follow-up stops by itself. Each week you see cash collected, cash promised and what's still at risk.

Your name, your inbox

Your customers hear from you. Not from a collector.

Every email goes out from your own Gmail or Microsoft 365 mailbox, signed by your team, in the tone you choose. Replies land in your inbox, where they always have. No look-alike domain and no third-party letterhead, just steady, courteous follow-up that sounds like you.

  • 1Your address. Sent from the mailbox you already use for invoices.
  • 2Your payment page. Customers pay the way they already pay you.
  • 3Your invoices. PDFs attached from your accounting software, when it has them.
  • 4Your team. Signed with your name, title and phone number.

What does the work

Six agents. One job: getting you paid.

Each agent does one part of an accounts receivable team's week, every weekday, and hands a person anything that needs judgment.

Reads your books

Starts from your ledger, every time

Open invoices, customers, payments, credits and invoice PDFs, read fresh on every run. Read-only: nothing in your books is changed.

Decides who to contact

The right accounts, on the right day

Oldest and largest balances first, missed promises flagged. Customers who've paid, promised a date or asked for time are left alone, and disputed invoices are left out.

Writes in your voice

Specific, short and polite

The AI writes the words. Amounts, invoice numbers and payment links come straight from your ledger, and drafts that get them wrong are rejected.

Reads every reply

Understands what customers say

A payment date, a dispute, "we already paid", a payment plan request, a new contact, an out-of-office. Each is recognized and acted on.

Matches payments

Stops when the money lands

Payments in your books are matched to their invoices on every run, and every approved email is re-checked against the latest balances right before it's sent.

Reports every week

A report your CFO will actually read

Cash collected, cash promised, disputes, what's at risk and the proof-of-lift result, on one page.

You stay in control

A person approves every email, until you say otherwise.

Start with every email approved. When you're comfortable, routine reminders can go on their own while the sensitive ones keep waiting. You choose who approves: your people, our team, or either.

A review week first

A new account starts in dry run: emails are drafted and saved, never sent, until you tell us to go live.

Numbers from your books

The AI never types an amount. Totals, invoice numbers and links are filled in from your ledger, and any draft that names an amount or invoice that isn't on the account is rejected.

Re-checked before sending

Right before an approved email goes out, it's checked against the latest balances and cancelled if anything changed.

Stops when they answer

A reply, a payment or a promise pauses the follow-up, and disputed invoices come out of the reminders.

Business customers only

Customers marked as individuals, such as a personal guarantor, are never emailed or called by the agents.

Everything on the record

Every approval, edit, rejection and setting change is in the audit log, with the name of the person who made it.

Proof, not promises

Would they have paid anyway? Let's find out.

Turn on the holdout test and a random share of your overdue accounts, typically 20%, gets no emails or calls for 60 days, and payments from them during the test carry no fee. Your report compares how much of each group's balance came in, so the lift is measured, not claimed.

  • Fair split. The groups are balanced by account size.
  • No fee. Payments from held-back accounts during the test aren't billed.
  • In every report. On your Overview and in the weekly report, with a warning when there are too few accounts to be sure.

For your customers

One link. Everything they need to pay you.

Every email links to a private page where your customer sees their open invoices, pays through your payment link, downloads copies, and tells you what's going on. Each answer updates the account exactly like a reply would.

“We’ll pay on a date”

The promise is recorded and reminders wait until then.

“There’s a problem with an invoice”

A dispute opens for you, and that invoice leaves the reminders.

“We’ve already paid”

Reminders pause while your team checks for the payment.

Pricing

You pay when you get paid.

No setup fee, no software license, nothing up front. Northdue earns a share of the cash we collect on invoices more than 60 days past due, once your customer has paid.

$0 up front

No setup fee and no software to buy. Connect your tools and we start working.

A share of cash collected

A success fee on payments for invoices more than 60 days past due, only once the payment is in your books.

Only for our work

Nothing on held-back accounts during the test, on customers we hadn't contacted yet, or on accounts you've placed with an agency.

Security

Built to be trusted with your books and your inbox.

Northdue connects to two of the most sensitive systems a business has. We ask for as little as the job needs, and we're specific about what we do with it.

How we protect your data

Read-only books

We read invoices, customers and payments. We never change anything in your accounting software.

No passwords

You sign in with Intuit, Xero, Google or Microsoft. We never see or store those passwords.

Encrypted

HTTPS everywhere, encrypted disks, and connections sealed with a key kept apart from the data.

No AI training

Your data isn't used to train AI models: not by us, and not by Anthropic under its commercial terms.

Questions

Good questions, straight answers.

Something else on your mind? Write to hello@northdue.com and a person will answer.

Will this hurt our customer relationships?

It's built not to. Emails come from your own mailbox, in your name and tone, and by default a person approves each one. Your customers get a clear, courteous reminder and an easy way to pay or tell you what's wrong, and the reminders pause as soon as they answer.

Do our customers know AI is involved?

The emails don't mention AI. They're drafted with AI, approved by a person by default, and sent from your address as your own correspondence, the way a colleague might draft a letter for you to sign. If you use AI phone calls, the caller always says it's an automated call made on your behalf and that it may be recorded.

What do you need from us to get started?

About ten minutes: connect your accounting software and the mailbox you send invoices from, and tell us who should approve emails. We recommend a first week where emails are drafted but not sent, so you can read every one before anything goes out.

Which accounting software do you work with?

QuickBooks Online, QuickBooks Desktop and Xero connect directly. For NetSuite, Sage, Microsoft Dynamics, Zoho or anything else, email or schedule your aging report to your private report address, or upload it. See integrations.

How does pricing work?

You pay a share of the cash we collect on invoices more than 60 days past due, once your customer has paid, and nothing up front. We'll quote your rate after a short call or your free Cash Leak Scan. How pricing works.

What happens when a customer disputes an invoice?

That invoice comes out of the reminders and a task opens for you with the customer's own words. You decide what happens next. Northdue never argues with your customers.

Do you contact consumers?

No. Northdue is for business-to-business invoices. Customers marked as individuals, such as a personal guarantor, are never emailed or called by the agents.

How is this different from our accounting software's reminders?

Built-in reminders send the same email on a schedule, and someone on your team still has to read the replies, chase promises and make the calls. Northdue decides who to contact, writes each email for the situation, reads and acts on replies, tracks promises, prepares calls, matches payments and reports what it achieved.
